I read somewhere that, "Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get!".
Success is attained when we have gotten what we desire most. Us human beings always want more, it is human nature! But still most of us are not happy even if we have gotten what we want. Sometimes we become greedy to the point of being indifferent to somebody else's needs and sometimes we no longer care when we hurt someone just to get what we want.
On the other side of the coin is happiness, which is being content with what we have gotten even if it's not what we really want. Contentment really is the key to happiness and peace!
There has to be a balance between both! There should come a point in our life that we should say enough! And let the torch of achieving more passed onto our children! All we need to do is give them a little head start ...
